Starting on Monday, October 21, 2024, there will be construction on 24th St., between Shepherd Dr. and Durham Dr. that will continue at least through the end of the year.
The first phase involves reconstructing the south side of 24th St. During this phase:
- Eastbound traffic on 24th St. from Durham Dr. will be blocked.
- Westbound traffic from Shepherd Dr. to Durham Dr. will remain open but may be affected by daily construction activities.
Traffic on Shepherd Dr. will generally not be impacted by the construction on 24th St. However, there may be occasional left lane closures on Shepherd Dr. at 24th St. for work near the intersection.
- Drivers on Durham Dr. will not be able to turn left (east) onto 24th St.
- Those wishing to travel east from Durham Dr. (or from areas west of Durham Dr.) should go south on Durham Dr., then turn left on 23rd St. to continue east.
