The Memorial Heights Redevelopment Authority / TIRZ Board recently invited public input on the Draft Potential Projects List. The feedback submission window closed on May 18, 2025.

This list helps the Redevelopment Authority identify and prioritize needed improvements within the Zone. It is important to note that this is a list of potential projects, not a schedule of approved or funded work. Inclusion on the list does not guarantee implementation.

Please remember:

1. This is the current list of all potential projects in the Zone that have been submitted.
2. There is limited funding available and inclusion on the list does not guarantee the project will be selected for funding or inclusion in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
3. The City of Houston approves all TIRZ budgets and CIP plans and reviews and approves all project designs and oversees and inspects all construction.

Your input helps us better understand community needs and guide planning efforts—even when resources aren’t immediately available.
