Starting Monday (4/8/2024), the eastbound direction on 20th St. will be closed until Friday (4/12/2024). Traffic traveling north on Shepherd will not be impacted.
- Traffic wishing to access 20th St. east of Shepherd will need to turn on 19th St. or 21st St., travel east to Lawrence, and then turn north (from 19th) or south (from 21st) to travel to 20th St. where they can turn left or right to continue down 20th St.
- If you’re traveling eastbound from Durham you will be forced to turn north onto Shepherd Dr., turn east on 21st St., turn south on Lawrence, and turn onto 20th St.
The closure will not affect northbound traffic on Shepherd and eastbound traffic on 20th St. and traffic turning west onto 20th St. from Shepherd Dr. will also be unaffected.
