Final Round of Community Engagement Begins for the Greater Heights Strategic Connections Plan

The Memorial Heights Redevelopment Authority (MHRA) has launched the final round of community engagement for the Greater Heights Strategic Connections Plan, a grant-funded study shaped by significant community input to improve how people move safely throughout the Greater Heights area.

The plan identifies practical projects that make it safer and easier to walk, bike, take transit, and drive while strengthening connections between neighborhoods, schools, parks, and local destinations. The study area extends beyond the Memorial Heights TIRZ boundary, and the plan will be shared with local and regional agencies to help guide the development of future transportation and mobility projects across the broader area.

Community input has been essential in shaping the plan, and residents, business owners, and community stakeholders are encouraged to participate in this final phase. Feedback gathered during March will help refine the recommended projects.  Opportunities to provide input are available at in person events or online through March 27.
